    I thought @George Crowcroft might have as well.

    Crazy career, nearly half his opponents were HOFers, and the first Gans' fight was one of the craziest in history.

    Dyed in the wool racist from a family of racists who made the most absurd demands of the champion in a real show of white privilege including: the fight would be in his hometown; they would do 133lbs at ringside; he would choose the referee - who he then attacked :lol:

    Like I said, it was more based on fascination than admiration in a lot of cases

    I think you'd have a hard time arguing he was a worse person than Kid McCoy or Billy Papke

    Well Papke was a violent psychopath - but not one who employed gamesmanship. There was something sneaky and creepy about Britt for me. That said, these lists are all about purely personal opinions aren't they? There are millions of people who wind up "fans" of serial killers ffs.

    No, that's fine. I was originally considering placing such a limitation, but ultimately decided the only requirement was that they competed professionally.

    That is perfectly fine. I haven't recorded any of the lists yet, so feel free to switch around.

    I'll let everyone know once I've began data collection, and at that point I will keep running tallies of whose lists have been logged. At THAT point, if anyone makes any changes before the deadline, that's OK too. Just please let me know if you do after that point, and that goes for everyone.
