Unfortunately thats all Briggs had. The majority of the guys he kayoed were bums, though. IMO he was just too muscular and bulky, it really hindered him in the ring. Kinda reminded me of another heavy hitter named Floyd 'Jumbo' Cummings. Tim Witherspoon said Cummings hit harder than anyone around, but just couldnt make it, he was too slow and bulky.

Even still Briggs can`t be totally dis-credited as he is a 2 time former champ and one time linear champion. He may win again this year, I would definitely like to see him drop another 10-15lbs though.

Is that the guy who died in the ring? Think i saw a picture or an illustration of him lying dead in the ring with what looked like a ray of light shining down on him like he was 'getting brought to heaven' kinda thing. Forgive me if im thinking of someone else as it was about 25yrs ago i saw this and i was just in my teens

Shavers 15? I'm sure we all have opinions, but Ernie could knock down walls with that straight right of his. It's all good though.

If it was a category based on power I'm sure he'd be in everyones top 3. He didn't really KO many great fighters. Testimonies help him a lot.

Hmmm, I'll have to compile a list.

Foreman would be right up there. For me 1 is Joe Louis (can't seethat ever changing) with Tyson at 2 but in terms of actually deliberating individual placings....well Ill have to think.

What does everyone think of Tommy Burns? Small, but in the footage I've seen of him he looks a dehabilitating puncher with a sneaky but accurate (and therefore swerve-inducing) right hand. Threw some lvely shots that jadthw guy shaking like Cuevas when hit by Hearns.

Burns impressed me in footage, but what of the Aussie he was fighting? Can anyone provide me any details?

First of all pretty damn good and interesting job ... a lot of thought went into it .. I'm going to review it for a while but nice job, without question.
