    He was the best for these time lines. I think it’s pretty clear and I’m kind of shocked by his placement here.

    Where to start? We see things differently.
    Scott was an oversight from an earlier list, of this lot I only would consider Browne.
    Solis-best win was over Austin who was 1-6 for the decade, lost twice to Tony Thompson
    Zhang(he was 20-0 before the 2020s) only name win was Rudenko, who never beat anyone of note.
    Chambers-lost every meaningful fight in the decade-Wlad, Adamek, Mchunu, Washington
    Pianeta best wins McCall, 47 years old, and Botha who was only 44...
    Tom Schwarz- beat nobody, Gashi the best.
    Leapai-Beat Boystrov, who beat nobody, Lost to Parker, Charr, Scot, Wlad, Kevin Johnson
    Lucas Browne-Some good names, Toney (44 years old) Rallied to come from behind to stop Chagaev(37 years old)but lost to Whyte and Allen, but certainly in with a shout of 40-50.
    Cojanu-lost to Parker, Ortiz, Gorman, Dubois, beat ?
    Franklin-beat Forrest on a split Decision.
    Forrest-Lost to Hunter, Washington, Franklin
    Seferi-Lost to Charr, Fury and Lerena, beat nobody.
    Rydell Booker-6 fights in the decade, won 4 against opponents that had won 58 of 141 fights, lost to Franklin and Pulev.
    Fedosov-Never heard of him but apparently he lost to Jennings and Whitaker.
    Ustinov-beat 41 year old Tua, lost to Hunter, Charr, Pulev, Joyce

    Firstly I rate Wlad highly, much higher than anybody else on this list, an ATG.
    But I see the decade as almost a three way tie between, Wlad, Fury and Joshua with the rest of the top 12 decent. Lets look at the decade.
    Wlad- Povetkin(9)Pianeta, Pulev(10)Jennings(18)Chambers, Peter, Haye(12)Thompson(35)Wach(19) . Lost to Fury(1) Joshua(2).
    Fury- Chisora(12) Rogan, Cunningham, Hammer(36) Wlad(3) Wallin(48). Drew with Wilder (4) but I see that as a win.
    Joshua- Whyte(5) Martin(50)Breazeale(30)Molina, Wlad(3) Takam(24) Parker(8) Povetkin(9) Ruiz(7). Lost to Ruiz(7).
    The brackets are the provisional ratings I gave them for the decade. Wlad suffers in his competition to some extent because he cleaned out a lot in the previous decade and his two losses were past prime to the two other top heavyweights of the period. I have no problem with somebody ranking him number one, but on the criteria of the thread, I don't think that any of the three is unreasonable at the top. IMO, Joshua has the best resume of the decade but also has the most hurtful loss. Fury probably could have cemented his place at the top if he didn't go AWOL but his resume is the thinnest of the three but I think the wins over Wlad and the dubious draw with Wilder have merit. I actually think I will end up with Joshua at one and Wlad at two but I await decent arguments!

    Its also about quality losses both good opponents and performances. If you exclude everyone who "beat nobody" I don't think you can craft a top 50 in this era. Its hard enough in eras where fighters fought each other but this eras defining feature is that not happening.

    Anyway I'm going to make a more detailed case below

    Solis His 3 losses were to Vitali and 2 close ones to Thompson. He also beat Drummond and Monte Barrett. His only clear loss is to someone in your top 10.

    Zhang I understand. Just putting him out there cause you could argue unproven 20-0 is better then who would otherwise be in the 45-50 range?

    Chambers A good Wlad contender. But yeah he earned his title shot in the 2000s and did little in the 2010s. I would rank him above several in the overrated list but I get not putting him top 50.

    Pianeta McCall was 47 but he is the longest tenured contender in the history of the HW division. He was top 150 like 6 months ago at 60. Pianeta fought for the lineal title twice and went the distance with Fury. He beat Duhaupus who you ranked high and beat Skelton just early enough for it to mean something.

    Tom Schwarz 26-1 with about 10 solid regional level wins. An "inter continental champion" make of that what you will. Gashi is really good.

    Leapai Yeah you're probably right here. I thought because he was a Wlad contender and fought a lot of guys but yeah looking into it hes probably the weakest Wlad opponent of the era.

    Lucas Browne Beat Chagaev and one of his 2 losses is to Whyte who you rank high. If you're an Australian scene guy he has a very nice record. Has a great case to be the 2nd best Aussy scene guy of the era over Takam who you rated high. Actually wish Parker and Takam fought him. David Allens not a terrible loss. David Allen was good enough to still be around in 2026 putting up solid fights with elite fighters.

    Cojanu He challenged himself and got beaten badly by some of the best HWs of the era. He is one of the best 10 HWs ever taller then 6'7. Dubois and Luis Ortiz are some very rough customers. He went the distance with Parker who you have in the top 10.

    Franklin Never stopped losses to AJ and Whyte. You have Whyte rated quite a bit higher then me.

    Forrest 25-3 in the 2010s with losses to Franklin(SD), Hunter and Washington. You have Hunter rated very high and Washington rated high. It was the 2020s but Forrest did better in drew with Hunter in the rematch. Maybe that can count as adding context to first fight? I'm just thinking if you have Hunter in the top 10 its hard to argue this guy isn't top 50.

    Rydell Booker A stretch on my part.

    Seferi Nice record, fought Fury won some minor trinkets. Yeah his SOS is worse then I remembered. Tyson Fury really is something else.

    Fedosov 11-2 with 2 losses to Jennings and Lance Whitaker. The reason I put Fedosov is hes 6'1 and lost a split decision to Lance Whitaker whose 6'8. Thats something something P4P.

    Ustinov 15-4 in the 2010s with all his losses coming to guys in your top 30. All but 1 of his opponents are over .500.
