Wrong again. 29 and he destroyed the division in 1 year. That cannot be ignored.

I would have Arguello right at the top. The best technical puncher IMO

But JCC beat two of George's alternates (Ramirez, and Rosario) at 135. So, his criteria really doesn't make too much sense.

I think Arguello, Ross and Chavez are huge omissions here, I've seen your criteria about ranking in one division but the reality is both were far greater LW fighters than a whole raft of those listed. I mean is it actually possible to claim Rosario is a greater LW than Chavez? Or that Mosley is a greater LW than Arguello? It just seems ludicrous when it's put like that imo.

I think Jack is too high and him and Montgomery really deserve to be neck and neck.

Joyce is waaaayyyyy too high imo.

Some notes : I think McAuliffe, Lavigne and Erne should be ranked McAuliffe, Erne, Lavigne.

Nelson and Wolgast from the top of my head would be miles away from a top 50, but we'll see how I feel by the end of the post.

Ritchie is someone I think I under rate as I never get the hype with him but see him always ranked very highly.

Kansas, Mandell, Singer should be ranked Mandell, Kansas, Singer imo.

Jenkins, Jack, Montgomery should be ranked Jack, Montgomery, Jenkins.

Carter, Laguna, Teo Cruz should be ranked Laguna, Carter, Teo Cruz

Buchanan, Mancini, Rosario would be ranked Buchanan, Rosario, Mancini.

Mosley, Johnston, Castillo would be ranked Castillo, Mosley, Johnston imo.

Marquez and Crawford are hard to separate, but I'd give Marquez the edge.

    So yeah they're some subsets.

I bought it yesterday from Thriftbooks. It is by Noir and translated or something by Don Stradley.

Well, yeah. The Rosario-Chavez comment has got me questioning me system. I agree with most of your rankings, apart from the odd one.

I actually used to rank like that, Jones Jr broke the system because he needs ranking at SMW and LHW. Plus there's Holyfield at HW and CW.

I was left believing that ranking a guy only once, waters down any other division they're great in.

For example, say I rank Holy at CW. There's loads of HW guys who have an inflated ranking because Holy should be above them. Same with Jones.
