Ra's, I implore you to do the wise thing and take a knee on this one - it's only going to get uglier.

Agreed Fighters like Mayweather , Ramirez, Chavez ,and Especially Arguello are much to high
on this list for it to be reasonable. Especially when considering quite a few names
on this list theirs no reliable information on the fighter or film.

At first I wasn't sure if you were being serious but assuming you are, it's not a crazy shout - Robinson was a lightweight for the first 10 months of his pro career and went 20-0 there and has one significant win, against Sammy Angott, who is high up on George's list. Beyond that, there's not much else to say so I guess it comes down to how highly you rate the Angott win. Robinson fought Angott three times - 1941 in his final lightweight bout, 1942 and 1946 (both at welterweight) and won all three. There is footage of the 1946 bout.

I probably wouldn't include him in the top 50 lightweights because he spent so little time there and was obviously just passing through.

If SRR is not in your Top 50 Lightweights? How about Floyd?
In the first post, i see Floyd's name but cannot see SRR. I really cannot understand that.

Every post you have ever made on any topic is pure garbage.

Well, it's not my list, it's George's so he can explain why he didn't include SRR. But I've explained why I'm not convinced he should be there either.

Because the only man he fought who was ranked at lightweight was Sammy Angott, in all three fights they were above the limit/poundage. I've said before that I don't mind including fights which happened above the limit, if I rank both at the limit (eg: Duran/DeJesus I) but I don't, I rank Robinson at Welterweight. He has nothing else of note, and I don't account for the above.

So yeah, Robi doesn't make it.

Angott is a lot better any any of Mayweather's LW resume?
    SRR is 20-0
    Mayweather is 4-0

SRR beat #1 Angott and #3 Lello
