Joe Louis has to be higher than 16. Has to be.

    Yeah, why?

I've actually moved him down since, by one spot, so make it #17.

I think it's a great list. Griffith & Gavlin above Burley is a little hard to swallow, but you can make arguments. Hagler is far, far to high, what possible reasoming exsists for having him above Jimmy Wilde, for example? Pep is a bit low for my liking.

    Nice list though.

You're well into your Lois just now aren't you?

The case is there though. Ortiz was essentially a lightweight when he dropped what may have been a hometown decision to Loi. Keeping in mind that Ortiz had nothing but good to say about the man, 1-1-1 may have been a fairer reflection - but it's not neccesary to make the transformation to make the case.

Ortiz lost more but he also fought and beat more great fighters. His Lightweight run includes Laguna, Elorde, Ramos...even during his comeback he was on a run before Kenny Buchanan stepped up to stop his run, even then it took a great.

Oriz is a lighweight and Loi's best years were at 147 - Ortiz has the better resume, and the trilogy is very close. This is where the case lies.

Well you can stop laughing at the guys who have him in the top 25 until you've sorted out the guys who have them in the top 1.

What possible reasoning exists for having Jimmy Wilde as high as most have him? I understand he fought bigger men, but the level of competition was not stellar, and is **** poor compared to other ATG's.
