lennox lewis wasnt the hardest to hit when his opponents didnt sit back (old holy, morrison) and took the fight to him, like mercer
Very true, but even with that Naz didnt have a poor defence, he may have took shots, but hardly took them flush, it looked worse because of the way he moved Skip 50 seconds [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snNdIDIFT4Q"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=snNdIDIFT4Q[/ame] And ali's defence went downhill in his 30's and in his prime it was very good [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTF0GoHTxHg"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTF0GoHTxHg[/ame] When you fight that level of fighters you get hit more often because of the opponents skill. Seems to me if a great fighters defence isnt as good as Floyd Mayweather's it's a poor defence. ---------------- Has Jorge Arce been mentioned yet?
What the ****? Some really horrible answers being given here. Anyone not named Mayweather has been listed. Stupid :-(
You don't become a top boxer without having some defense. However by comparsion. Many Pacquiao's defense is right down there.
Mayorga (mainly because he just dont give a ****) Hatton (great feet but never had that good of defence or head movement and could be walked into punches) Rios (self explanatory) Micky Ward (really didnt know how to defend...his defence was to plant his feet and trade)
You couldn't be more right - McClellan ate Benn's power shots as though they were KFC popcorns. "Crazy arrogance."
Tua always seemed pretty hard to hit clean. Probably also has somewhat to do with his very low height.
Khan does pretty much everything wrong which is kinda funny now that he's teamed up with a guy who does pretty much everything right (Ward).
