Huge fan of GGG, but he's not nearly cocky or serious enough to be Alpha. He has that kind of humble, happy, likable Everyman vibe to him.

Agree with Froch, but Ward is also too polite to really count.

 

Alpha male theory is school yard ****. Half of the guys who thought they were alpha back in the day are broke or in jail. Growing up I was cool with the guys who thought they were alpha but when it came down to a pissing contest i said: "see ya". Point is its better to be a lone wolf then to follow the pack or fight for the top spot. to paraphrase an old saying; Its better to try and be a big fish in a big pond rather than the biggest fish in a little pond. most of the guys who thought they were alpha I can buy there asses now.

Carl Froch is alpha while still having subtle insecurities, for example iv noticed he looks slightly insecure/nervous around his girlfriend but that could be down to the understandable sheer hotness of her and the knowledge that his occupation and rise to prominance he would probably not be given the time of day by someone like her. I could be wrong on that. You still have to be alpha to get a bird like that in the first place.

Cotto is alpha, cool, calm and he knows what he knows in himself and doesn't seem concerned by what your doing. Plus things just seem to go well for him. That's alpha ness.

Nigel Benn was alpha. No explanation needed.

Is Dayvit Haye an alpha ?
