There's a lot of talk going around about fights not getting made and it got me thinking...a lot more good fights are being made than not being made. Pick the ONE fight you would want to see in each weightclass CURRENTLY. It can be for significance or purely for entertainment value.I'll start. (I've bolded the major weightclasses since they're all we should really care about lol)

105--I don't really want to see any fights at this weight :bart

108--Giovanni Segura vs. Roman Gonzalez (ACTION. Also, the only real chance for Gonzalez to fight a recognizable fighter.)

112--Pongsaklek Wonjongkam vs. Giovanni Segura (Segura could become RING champ in two different weight classes. That would be a hell of an achievement for him.)

    115--Nothin' to see here, folks.

118--Donaire vs. Darchinyan II (There's plenty of good fights being made here, but this one would be nice, seeing as how Donaire NEVER FIGHTS ANYBODY.)

122--Steve Molitor vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux (Call me a masochist, but I wanna see it!)

126--Chris John vs. Celestino Caballero (You can all go **** yourselves)

130--Ricky Burns vs. Roman Martinez II (Why not? It was awesome!)

135--Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Michael Katsidis (Can't-miss action fight, plus the lineal title on the line. I'm so glad this is happening.)

140--Timothy Bradley vs. Amir Khan (Alexander isn't ready for Bradley and owes Kotelnik a rematch. And I want a clear champion at 140.)

147--Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao (Probably going to be a boring fight, but the significance is huge--linear welterweight champ, consensus p4p #1, etc.)

154--Paul Williams vs. Kermit Cintron II (That fight was shaping up to be a good one, and it needs to be finished.)

160--Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams II (We need a rematch, though 160 isn't the ideal weight for it. Nor is 157...)

168--Carl Froch vs. Arthur Abraham (This will be an awesome fight, and pretty damn significant as well.)

    175--Tavoris Cloud vs. Nathan Cleverly
(Neither has earned a shot at Pascal yet, but this promises to be a great fight with big implications for the division.)

200--Marco Huck vs. Kryzstof Wlodarczyk (Would be a hell of a fight, and the winner will have earned a rematch with Cunningham for the linear title.)

HWT--Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye (This was a tough one to call. I'd like to see ANY mixture of Haye, Povetkin, and Adamek. But at the end of the day, we need to see the champ challenged, and Haye is the only one of the three who I think has a legitimate shot at beating Wlad right now.)

James Kirkland vs Paul Williams would be a war at 154 or 160.

105 - Joyi-Gonzalez. Assuming Gonzalez can still make the weight, I think it would be a great style clash, and it would create a lineal champ at 105 for the first time ever.

    108 - Segura-Gonzalez. All-action fight.

112 - Wonjongkam-Concepcion - Also would be an exciting fight, and Concepcion seems to be making a career out of beating Thai fighters.

    115 - Cazares-Rosas could be a hell of a fight

    118 - Donaire-Montiel

    122 - Nishioka-Vazquez

    126 - Gamboa-Lopez

    130 - Solis-Uchiyama

    135 - Marquez-Katsidis, and we're getting it.

    140 - Bradley-Alexander

    147 - Pacquiao-Mayweather

    154 - Kirkland-Angulo

    160 - Golovkin-N'Jikam or Golovkin-Pirog

    168 - Froch-Andrade

175 - Any two of Pascal, Cloud or Shumenov fighting would make a great action fight

    200 - Huck-Lebedev

    HW - Adamek-Haye

So what would be a better weight to have it if 160 or 157 dont work. ITs for the damn MW title of the world. I think 160 is perfect for it.

Also Cintron really doesnt strike me as a fight i would have to see.
    Maybe
PW-Angulo-Kirkland-Lara mix. Any of those would be great.

I had forgotten about that one.
What a fight that would be. However due to Andrades recent performance i would edge Froch to take it.

You reckon Munroe has a chance, mate? I'd love to see him pull it off, but I'm not sure about this one at all. I know he'll be a hard opponent, but I'm not sure whether he has the class to pull these big fights out of the bag.

    Impressive list.
140, I think the best matchup is Alexander vs. Maidana.
154, Cotto vs. Angulo or Margo vs. Angulo.

And of course JuanMa vs. Gamboa.

    Here are my picks:

108 - Segura vs. Gonzalez - Power vs. Power

112 - don't know of any good matches that can be made here

115 - Donaire vs. Darchynyan - a second fight will settle all doubts

118 - Donaire vs. Montiel - a true test to Donaire's pound for pound status

122 - don't know of any good matches that can be made here

126 - Gamboa vs. Lopez - Speed vs. Power

130 - don't know of any good matches that can be made here

135 - Marquez vs. Katsidis - Accuracy vs. Power

140 - Bradley vs. Alexander - to settle who is the best in this division

147 - Pacquiao vs. Mayweather - Pound for Pound title, fight of the decade

160 - Martinez vs. Williams - fight of the year candidate

168 - Abraham vs. Frosch - all action

175 - Pascal vs. Hopkins - let's see what Hopkins has left

200 - don't know of any good matches that can be made here

HW - W. Klitschko vs. Haye - the fight to be made at heavyweight

105 - Joyi vs. Gonzalez. Promises to be a very good fight. I'm really appreciating Gonzalez right now and I think he could improve his status a lot in this bout.

108 - Segura vs. Gonzalez. Seems to be the obvious pick with other posters and I can't really disagree.

112 - Wonjongkam vs. Concepcion - My interest in this has risen after the Concepcion and Kaovichit fight. I think it'd be a really intriguing bout.

115 - Donaire vs. Darchinyan II - A rematch is long overdue after all the talking. I'd love to see a rematch and I hope after the fight, which I expect Donaire would win, he could start to progress like he should be doing.

118 - Montiel vs. Mares - I think this would an excellent all-Mexican fight. This could set up the next big Mexican star, to follow on from Barrera, Morales and JMMarquez. Amazing fight to think about.

122 - Nishioka vs. Rigondeaux - Call me crazy, but I think Rigondeaux could win this fight in 2011/12. I'd really like to see this happen before we start to see the Cuban age.

126 - Gamboa vs. Lopez - Pretty obvious pick here, but you're pretty much guaranteed action. I don't know if the fight would go beyond 6, but those rounds it did last would be incredibly fun, though a carbon copy of Lopez/Ponce De Leon wouldn't entirely surprise me.

130 - Burns vs. Foster Jr. - A good, all-British world title fight. England vs. Scotland, it would sell out and be a really good tear up.

135 - Murray vs. Rios - Looking at the division, the obvious pick is Marquez/Katisidis and I really can't wait for that fight, but as it's another completely obvious pick, I put down another fight I'd love to see. A Murray upset wouldn't surprise me.

140 - Bradley vs. Maidana - I think there's a lack of really entertaining fights in this division, but I chose this as it's probably the most likely to turn into a war. I really like the sound of this, unlike Khan/Maidana and Bradley/Alexander, which could bother be one sided.

147 - Pacquiao vs. Mayweather - Obvious pick. I think it would be a really good fight though and I am very confident Mayweather gets knocked out, so I would love to see it.

154 - Kirkland vs. Angulo - War! This fight would be brutal, if Kirkland can get back to fighting form. I've been interested in this since HBO started really highlighting the 154lbs division a couple of years ago. Has a classic war written all over it.

160 - Pavlik - Golovkin - Assuming Pavlik can still make the weight, I think this is a really interestign match-up. There's not a lot of choice in the division, but I like the sound of this.

168 - Froch vs. Abraham - I'm really pleased this is happening. Has all the potential to be a classic fight. Neither man will back down, so it should be interesting to see who gets forced back. If Froch loses, I'd like to see him against Andrade in his next bout.

175 - Pascal vs. Cleverly - The last time Pascal came over, it resulted in an excellent fight and I think a Cleverly fight could actually be more entertaining. I'd really like to see this, so I'm hoping that Pascal gets past Hopkins and Cleverly can either beat Braehmer or collect that world title in some other odd way.

200 - Lebedev vs. Frenkel - Incredibly dull division, so I'll go with two bangers. I most likely wouldn't watch anyway, though the chances of a YouTube hit knockout are fairly high, so I'd watch that instead.

200+ - Haye vs. Adamek - The obvious pick is Haye vs. Klitschko but an Adamek bout is much more likely to be an entertaining fight. The two best cruiserweights of recent years, two top quality heavyweights. Both guys like to get involved in a fight. You have the puncher vs. the iron chin, the warrior vs. the playboy. It has it all.

    Just a note:

Everyone talks about the lack of depth in the heavyweight division, but with Povetkin, Adamek, Haye, and hell, Arreola you could have a bunch of great fights. Heck, why not have a 4-man tournament to determine worthy challengers for the Klitschkos lol.

Montiel should win.Donaire has a tough fight against Sydorenko @ 118 this december.

    147-154 Mayweather vs Pacquiao.

105 - Gonzalez-Joyi. Seems like the most significant fight to be made here, and I think it would be entertainging too.

108 - Segura-Gonzalez. Two fighters who are fun to watch, this would be entertaining and a chance for Roman to prove he's at the top level.

112 - Wonjongkam-Naito V. A great rivalry. Naito has had more success in their last tow fights and it would be interesting to see how much they've learned about each other and if one can adapt enough to pull out a clear victory.

115 - Cazares-Nashiro III. Why the hell not? Their first two fights were excellent, competative affairs and I could happily watch them go at it again.

118 - Donaire-Montiel. Two p4p fighters at the top of their division, this needs to happen.

122 - Rigondeaux-Nishioka. I think Rigo will beat Cordoba and if he does, I'd throw him in at the deep end and give him the chance to prove how good he is.

126 - Gamboa-Lopez. This division is deep and a lot of interesting fights can be made. Let's be honest though, this is the one we all want to see.

130 - Burns-Fana. I don't think Fana is all that, and a victory for Ricky here would make him Ring champion!

135 - Linares-Rios. Linares has recovered from his ko defeat and I want to see if he can be as good as most of us thought he was going to be. Winning this fight would catapult him to the top of the division and re-enhance his reputation at the same time.

140 - Bradley/Alexander-Khan/Maidana. The winners of these fights have to meet, it would create a Ring champion and is easily the most significant fight to be made.

    147 - Pacquiao-Mayweather.

    154 - Cotto-Angulo. I don't see any way that this isn't a great fight.

160 - Golovkin-N'kijam. There's a ridiculous amount of talent coming through at this weight. This fight can mark one of these guys as a legitimate contender.

168 - Bute-Ward/Super 6 winner. Thanks to the Super 6, we're seeing most of the significant fights here, this is the fight that clearly needs to happen in the aftermath.

175 - Cloud-Shumenov. Beibut looked a lot better last time out, let's see if he's ready for another step-up. This would be a nice styles clash too.

200 - Huck-Lebedev. Two aggressive fighters who can punch is usually a recipe for a good fight.

Heavy - W. Klitschko-Haye. The only fight at the weight that matters.
