First post, just wanna say what a great fight i watched in the early hours of the morning, well worth the wait and even having to sit through the dodgy undercard. Manny Pacquiao continues to amaze me, he's just getting better and better . He's now become a far bigger phenomenom than Floyd which fingers crossed will irk Mayweather into what will be a huge fight. Although the fight turned out to be a bit of a massacre Cotto more than played his part and the guts and skill levels of both fighters blew my mind , maybe due to all the ....erm, coffee i drank to stay awake. Happy to be here.
Welcome to ESB! :good Yeah, this was a really good fight, about as good as a one-sided fight could be, imo. Early on, at least, there was a feeling Cotto was still dangerous, still in this thing, and then there was the question toward the end if he would be able to make it to the final bell or Pacquiao would stop him. Some will still favor Mayweather in their prospective fight, but I think that Pac is at his peak, while Mayweather is perhaps a bit past it, and has been inactive.
Before last night i was saying Mayweather would beat Pac. Now i'm not so sure. He almost looked unbeatable in there at times. Proper master of his trade. The way he just soaked up whatever Cotto threw before just unleashing hell on that brave f*cker round after round. Great to watch.
