Terence Crawford. He should fight top welterweights like Spence and Thurman, but instead fights either journeymen or poor shot china-chinned Khan.
Abraham at that point is hardly a signature win, and if that is your signature win that says a lot. Hope Andrade can get a meaningful fight soon.
Yarde is Number 2 with WBO Number 5 with IBF Number 4 with IBO Number 8 on Boxrec That qualifies him as a top fighter in my book. So he should be atleast facing his domestic level rivals rather than feasting on Argentinian roll over jobs
I stopped reading at this bit!!! ;-) Yarde is definitely not one of the world's top fighters. Just off the top of my head, Kovalev, Alvarez, Beterbiev, Browne, Bivol, Gvozdyk, Jack, Barrera, Smith jr, even the likes of Mikhalkin, Pascal and Chilemba are more proven. I do agree with your general point though, he definitely needs to up his opposition.
No Andrade does not. He is about to turn 31 in a couple days and has a terrible resume. He won a few vacant titles against poor opposition, big deal. When Vanes Martirosyan is your biggest win at 31 years old and you turned pro at 20 years old...that isn't very impressive. Calling people out means nothing, everyone does it. It's the guys that are in Andrade's shoes that make sacrifices to make the fight happen that deserve credit. Guys in Andrades position (talented, but a nobody in terms of drawing power) can usually only get the big fights by beating top guys, and more importantly, taking short change to fight the big names. Has Andrade done either of these? Nope.
Just copy and paste a PBC roster list. It seems throughout the divisions when you get the better fighters not facing off against the better fighters one of those fighters is a PBC guy.
I guess Lemieux? The manner in which he did it was dominant and very impressive and Lemieux might be a top 5 middleweight (clearly behind Canelo, Jacobs, Golovkin, and Saunders). Lee win was pretty good but he was so up and down its hard to put a lot of stock into it.
