The Tiger-Depaula fight had been in the BigFights collection, or the collection of MSG that Bigfights eventually bought, but was destroyed in a storage facility fire long before ESPN even dreamed of buying that collection. That comes straight from the horses mouth, not the jackass'.

 

Ive got the complete TV broadcast of Mundine-Griffith. Interesting fight. I also have several of the Richards-Hennebary fights, very interesting period in Australian boxing. Sort of like the mid 1910s.

I´ve been told that Bunny Sterling´s British MW defence against Maurice Hope is one of the greatest MW fights ever fought in UK. I don´t think this fight was filmed.

 

Tim Witherspoon vs James Tillis is an interesting fight. Lucky to have first generation mint copy. Would love to see Liston vs Folley.

Quote in UK Boxing News, Sept 2006 from Steve Lott while speaking about the many fights unfilmed during the war because of the cost of the film stock : "However, the second Graziano - Zale WAS filmed by a fan in the seats. This is owned by ESPN following their purchase of The Big Fights library.
In the same article it mentions a rumour that film of Robinson v Gavilan is in a bank vault in Cuba. George Zeleny wrote the article.
