    Who are the top five American heavyweight champions strictly based on their performances from 2001 to present? Do not include any results from other weight divisions or before 2001.

    I think they are Holyfield, Rahman, John Ruiz, Byrd and Wilder roughly in chronological order. You could make a case for Andy Ruiz Jr. Holyfield in his forties is a choice for me.
