Top H2H LWs?

    Carlos Ortiz would be very live with just about anyone. I think he’d beat Mayweather and I’ve always felt with his intelligence and record in re-matches it’s possible he forces a trilogy with the likes of Whitaker, Duran, Armstrong, Leonard, Gans.

    Not necessarily h2h (that’s far too speculative when dealing with eras that are 30, 40, 80, 90 years apart) but IMO the greatest lightweights ever are 1. Leonard 2. Gans 3. Ortiz 4. Duran 5. Whitaker. I think Duran is the greatest overall fighter but strictly as lightweight I don’t have him #1.

    Hot Take Alert!

    Although he didn't stay there long, Julio at 135 was peak, just an awesome fighting machine. The Julio that brutalized Chapo holds his own with anyone.

    Absolutely. Arguello too is in that category. Few fights at 135 but few better.

    I'd say Mosely and Amber's are good shouts, I think Marquez is a class below the guys being thrown around here
