Yes it certainly smacks of bum-banditry but its not my word and its not my thread, I was merely redirecting the poster so he could enrich the thread a little more with his own point of view.
He was TKOed two times. He avenged one of them. His resume is still better as his brothers who also has two TKO losses in this decade.
The Klitschkos dilute each others resume by not fighting each other [fair enough I dont expect them to] But neither can be said to dominate a division whilst not fighting the no 2..........
Come on that's "splitting hairs" , Vitali has only narrow loss to the great Lennox Lewis (I dont really count Byrd much, if he hadnt thrown out his rotator cuff he would probably have won). Wlad looks the part and is quicker and more powerful but hes been smashed 3 times , the Corrie Sanders loss in particular was a brutal exposure. Vitali is unbeatable presently and may have beaten Lewis in 1 more round. Wlad has a few more wins than VK against limited competition but compared to his brother hes defined by his losses. Anyway thats well off topic so enough from me
we are talking about the decade 2000-2009. Wlad has two losses in this decade, of which he avenged one. I agree the loss to Byrd shouldn´t count for Vitali but he got stopped by an old, fat Lewis. That´s fact. you just can´t ignore this and saying Vitali would have beaten him the next round. Fact is, Wlad has a much better resume than his brother was/is as dominant and has better longevity. So he should rank higher. It´s that easy.
