    My Picks:

Efe Ajagba: With 4 ko's this year and 7 wins with 7 ko's record Ajagba shows that he means business. He has power and good hand speed to trouble top 20 heavyweights and his chin guarantees him safety in a longer distance fight. Also he does great when he is on the back foot. I expect him to step up the competition next year.

Tyrone Spong: Another big punching heavyweight. This year he defended his World Boxing Council Latino Heavyweight Title two times and gained vacant World Boxing Organisation Latino Heavyweight Title. He hits very hard and have great speed to his punches and loves to hit body.
Next year might be his break out year. Let's see how he does when the opposition becomes stronger.

Evgeny Romanov: Good amateur in his day, Romanov have impressed in pro game so far. Romanov have good boxing brain. He throws multiple punches at one time, throws with great angles and keeps coming again and again, this is rare in heavyweight boxing. Romanov faces undefeated John Napari on 8th of December. I expect him to go trough this with flying colors and expect him to face top 30 heavyweights next year.

Hemi Ahio: Hemi shows great speed and work rate so far. He has some miced martial arts record. Hemi shows good legs work and have great hand speed and workrate, so he definitely is one to look out for next year.

Sergey Kuzmin: Not a great but not bad year either for Kuzmin but still showed how ferocious he can be. He scored 2 ko's this year and scored one technical decision against Price where he dominated whole fight. His body attacks are things of beauty and it's his secret weapon against hard hitters of division.

Filip Hrgovic: Hrgovic is great puncher and showed that in this year's fights.
His usage of angles shows his skills at best. Although a bit static,he still won all of his fights this year with flying colors. Expect great year for him next year.

Evgeny Tischenko: Another great heavyweight has turned pro. So far he has scored 3 ko/tko victories this year and has showed how hard he can hit. He has gained some muscle mass, so that might benefit him in the future. I expect him to step up next year and score some great knockouts.

    Your picks?

    Rostislav Plechko

While I don't think Plechko is above any of the guys you mentioned, i expect him to shine more than the rest. I don't expect anyone else to really step up the competition.

Michael Hunter. He's ready for the big time. I don't think well see anything but more of the same from everyone you mentioned. None of them look like they are going to step up in a hurry. So other than Hunter, ill say Joe Joyce will make some noise next year.

Narrowly Hrgovic, though no one has really knocked my socks off.

There are more good prospects than I have ever seen at one time, but most of them are moving at a snail's pace. The Croatians, Hrgovic and Milas, are at least fighting frequently and against decent guys.

While we are at it, I'll give you three big names that have not impressed me at all:

    1. Tony Yoko.
The guy ALREADY has PEDS problems. Revoke his gifted gold medal and let's be done with him.

    2. Daniel Dubois
No talent whatsoever that I see.

    3. Ivan Dychko
The guy is a double bronze medalist...can we get him in there with somebody with a pulse?

A pretty good list of undefeateds, some more serious than others...

Spong, Hrgovic, Kuzmin and Kownacki are already top 15 ranked by the big 4 sanctioning bodies. Hunter isnt. Hopefully he gets a shot through the IBO.

    To impress next year?

Well Joyce is the one most likely from the current crop to make waves next year and step up as the others are younger and will spend a couple of years building experience. Guys like Ajagba, Hrgovic and Yoka won't be stepping up to the top level for a couple of years yet.

Uysk is the one that will likely make the biggest impact. His jump up to heavyweight will be keenly watched by all those interested in the division. He's the one most likely to have the biggest impact in 2019.

You've done your research! Props for including Tyrone Spong.

I wanted to vote for Efe because he looks powerful but I think he is still very green

I voted for Spong because he has been fighting.professionaly since he was a kid and has a ton of experience in striking.

He a very strong and skilled puncher... if he can just fight a top 20 or top 30 world ranked in he's next fight... he'll begin to make a good splash.

The rest are good prospects but still.too green to be knocking on the door of the big boys... Tyrone is closest I think but he needs to hurry up at 33 years old.

Joseph 'The Gun' Goodall is a rookie to keep an eye on next year as he moves into prospect mode. This kid will be the best heavyweight to ever come out of Australia. Beat Ajagba at the 2014 commonwealth games, lost to Joyce in the final. Bronze at the world championships last year. Keep an eye on this fella.

Nice list. Just think Demirezen is good enough to be a tough journeyman and still have hopes for Darmani Rock. Hes young, raw and inexperienced, give him some time, Wilder style.
