Is Teofilo a Heavyweight and did he fight in the 70's or 80's? Of course it can be mentioned. No-where do i see "pro" stipulated.

Thousands of x vs y never happened either yet here everyone is in here debating it a hundred times a week. Even as an Am Stevenson was one helluva fighter.

Yes he did but at the right point correctly brought along Teo was a chance of being anything. Maybe he would have fell short but maybe he would not have too.

Stevenson has the same right to be compared with pro boxers than any bjj guy from the gracie family. Both are 0-0 record

There would be multitudes of pro boxers out there that Stevenson would swamp no if's or buts - as was.

Who?tomato cans? .you can talk about his skill but it is not everything in professional boxing, you have to be a great physical athlete too and he never fought long distances so we can't rate him between pro athletes based on "i think " "what if" he would be"

Lyle, Cooney and Quarry come to mind. Young for a short window. The thing is the 70's had Ali and Foreman, and the 80's Holmes and Tyson. These are ll time greats, meaning it would be tough for a contender to beat them, unless they fought the when they are old as Berbick, Spinks, and M Spinks did.

I to think Lyle or Cooney today could be one of the champions. Quarry more likely a cruiser weight.

Never mind his skill - the guy had a lot more than just that going on and was immensely tall yet had fantastic co-ordination.

You needed to read between the lines with the crucial word being "and" which hints at the left out pieces. English being your second language probably kills that so apologies there.

So to elaborate he had a superb jab and huuuuuuuuge power in the right hand (As in KO power) as well extremely good hand speed. Have a look at how direct and straight his right hand could be. So much natural talent there.

You don't think he'd adapt and quickly? I appreciate where you are coming from as other incredibly elite talents such as Ali, Leonard, et al all had to acclimatize thru a number of pro bouts. We can look at Lomo tho and see some extremely long term ATg ams don't need much time at all.

Bump. Norton never actually won a real belt. I thought he did after beating Young, but I was wrong. He was simply given the belt held my Leon which he failed to successfully defend. He's number one although I think Ruddock, Shavers, Cooney, and probably a couple others in the top ten would chin him (or did in real life).
