Who are the top Managers/Trainers currently in England right now? In the Eighties/Ninetie's Micky Duff was the man. Calzaghe's father brought him along. Does he have any other prospects? Or any other trainers standout?
It's not what it used to be with trainers, but there are some solid names knocking about. I've never been big on Enzo C, the Ingles, Dave Coldwell, Oliver Harrison or Billy Graham. Booth is an ambitious promoter, but I'm not sold on him as a trainer. But the likes of Brian Lawrence, Rob McCracken, Jim McDonnell and Joe Gallagher don't do bad. I like Lawrence personally, good old school trainer but the least recognised of his peers.
Joe Gallagher is a very good trainer IMO. Dave Coldwell has done some good work Kell Brook (before he returned to the Ingles) and an ageing Ryan Rhodes.
