Top prospects in the UK

    Right we have done P4P top 10 in the UK but what about best boxing prospects in the UK? My top 10 would be:
    1. Anthony Joshua
    2. Jason Quigley
    3. Callum Smith
    4. Kal Yafai
    5. Chris Eubank Jnr
    6. Luke Campbell
    7. Kid Galahad
    8. Josh Warrington
    9. Bradley Saunders
    10. Terry Flanagan
    There are some that miss out and I may have forgotten about 1 or 2, but I am defining a prospect as someone who hasn't won a final eliminator like BJS but Eubank lost therefore still a prospect. Also people who have had plenty of fights at the higher level without getting a shot aren't counted as they are legit contenders or are not good enough. Let me know what you think and what yours are. :good

    About time etches got stepped up and put in with a decent domestic fighter to see what level his at.

    Wouldn't say that a prospect is someone who hasn't really found their level, he coasted through early part of his career and has only now started finding his level since the Ryder fight and Ryder is probably a fringe contender himself

    personally don't think Joshua will win a world title I think he has too many injuries for a start people are getting carried away with him he might be a Bruno great power but shocking stamina and can he take a shot?

    I'll be honest I haven't seen Tommy McCarthy fight, John Joe Nevin though I have seen and I wasn't all that impressed but I think he let the crowd get to him

    Nevin is a quality fighter i have watched him many years as a amatuer and in the WSB he will make a very good pro. His fight on the matchroom show in Ireland was a complete missmatch and he knew this his skills went out the window and he wanted a brutal ko which resulted in him looking sloppy, a bit simular to Brad Saunders firdt fight on a matchroom show. But Nevin will be a very good boxer

    Joshua should of never won Gold in the Olympics, Cuban beat him clearly and he been rocked badly in the amateurs by some Romanian in the Euros and the fight was stopped, first live body Joshua faces with a punch is going to derail him big time, I like the chap but not convined by him tbh.

    Fair enough, I was aware of his amateur pedigree but just from what I have seen as a pro he was against a seriously over matched opponent and he just tried to one punch KO him with every punch and if an occasion can get to him like that then I thought he wont go far, but ill give him the benefit of the doubt for the future then.

    Hughie Fury should be near the top.Been watching a few of Hughie's fights recently mainly the ones before the illness against Kovarik,Greer and a few others and he really boxes and moves well off the back foot behind a solid jab that he snaps from waist height similar to Holmes.Not many heavies can box and move off the back foot.Stivern can which is why he beat Arreola but cant think of many others.Joshua has been blowing guys away but has shown little in the way of boxing ability imo.

    Also watched a bit of Rudenko against Browne and needless to say Rudenko is a huge step up for Hughie.Be interesting to see how he does.

    Thought about Hughie and he would have been about 11 or 12, purely because when I have watched his fights and I believe I have seen 4 or 5 and he has been okay but not really impressed me to be honest. I think he has a great future when he fills out, it will leave him with a lot more power and if he goes on and beats Rudenko he will definitely be in my top 10 then

    Agree - though I'd imagine non of the British lads want anything to do with him!
