He did the same **** against Donaire, but at least the match was somewhat interesting because there was an element of danger in the air, he was fighting a P4P fighter that you knew could shatter Rigo's fragile chin if landed something.

That's not the same case with Agbeko, who was overmatched in every way, if you're going to bore the hell outta people using your overly cautious run n' potshot, miserable punch output style against a bum, then at least go for the KO ffs. It was his first time headlining an event and he still didn't care, it was a big chance for him to shine and wasted it big time.

And what's up with this ¨He needs to be matched properly and he'll shine¨ crap.

Rigo's not a boxing superstar like Mayweather, he can't draw flies to **** so he can't demand tailor made opponents that he can look good against yet

He needs to build a big fanbase first, so he needs to STFU, work with what he's got and be more entertaining, or stop bitching and conform with fighting in undercards for peanuts forever

Rigo needs to get his head out of his arse and realize he's not a superstar, and therefore not entitled to act like a diva

GBP or maybe straight to TMT. Whichever, as long as he gets out from under Arum, before he ends up with million dollar tax trouble, and more.

I simply cannot agree with you. Do you know what a Diva in boxing would mean?

    • To be undisputed and unified champ of his weight class
    • To throughfully outclass overybody they put in front of him
    • To have the accolates of being double olimpic Champion
    • To be top P4P after a dozen of fights
    • To stay undefeated
Are you able to recognize a single boxer with those accolates?
Besides he is not acting like a Diva, he is just complaining for being sidelined, by pushing in from of him those with half your talent!!

i thought rigo doesnt care if he sells a fight or not.

you cant not care and complain at the same time.

he has to be in exciting fights or talk an exciting one.

one or the other to warrant a pay of his caliber.

how much is he paid anyway?

Great boxer, poor to watch for most of the 'casuals', which is where the money is.

Top Rank and Arum again, eh?

The sooner that ***** is run out of boxing he better. He is the antithesis of a good boxing promoter.

Well done to Rigo, I hope he goes free agent and makes the fights he's being denied.

First and foremost, boxing is a business.
Whether we agree it should be or not, it is.

Rigo is a genius boxer, it is a shame.
I wonder if he wishes he'd of stayed an AM.

I fail to understand how Top Rank are screwing him, they got him the biggest fight of his career againt Donaire, he defended against a decent challenger & he's now scheduled to defend again in Macau on a big card. He also can move up to featherweight & take on a whole slew of challengers also with Top Rank.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

Rigo doesn't even throw as many punches a round as Heavyweights average. He is boring. He is not willing to engage. He has a Glass Jaw.

All the guy has to do is engage a little more and be more aggressive but he won't because he would get KOed. Nobody is asking him to be a face first brawler and rock'em sock'em robot type fights. Just throw 20 or so more punches a round.

NOBODY is to blame for this but Rigo himself.

Today's promoters are making their fighters look bad by not matching them up in competitive fights. Instead, we get to see all these lopsided fights like Canelo-Angulo.
After this one sided match-up, even Floyd's haters went back and watched Mayweather-Canelo again.

Donaire lacked the skills to match up well with Rigo. Sure he managed to knock Rigo down once, not hurt him. By round 8 on, it was Donaire taking all the power punches and lumping up

So who should they be matching Rigo with instead?
