Embarrassing production gaffes considering this is Top Rank (one of the oldest extant and most prestigious promoters) on ESPN (soon to be the longest running televised boxing network, when Showtime bows out of the game next month).

Couldn't hear Bradley and Osuna talking over Tony Weeks' instructions in the ring. His lavalier mic audio is WAY overleveled.

Lightning fast southpaw 1-2 from Mason; the jab doesn't reach but the left cross does and ends it, KO2!

 

Good prospect yes - but not sure you can be POTY for icing guys like José Cárdenas. He fought five times in 2023, but...none of the rest were anything special either.

 

2023 might be the year I've watched the least boxing since the 1990s, so not the best guy to ask.

As of a year ago it was firmly the Shigeoka bros but they both have world title belts now so can't call them prospects anymore.

I'll give it some thought...maybe when O'Shaquie Foster's voice isn't lulling me to sleep.
