exactly and I strongly doubt Berto wants Cotto at this stage, but Williams should take it in a heartbeat!

This is the perfect fight for him coming off the Margarito fight. The problem is that he prolly has no motivation to fight this dude & getting thru training will be a struggle, which is why he wants an opponent he can get up for

The public has waaaaay more confidence in Cotto than his own people. Let it be known.

I agree...this Jennings fight is nothing more than a tune up.

He should win this and then make amends with a win over Margie.

Yeah... He should take on Clottey. :rofl That's a hard fight, son. You make it sound like Cotto can just take it off him. Funny ****.

He means it's easy to promote for Arum. He didn't say anything about it being an easy fight for Cotto.

Feel bad that Cotto can't even catch a break about wanting to fight better opp.

The fact that Arum promotes both fighters is one of the primary reasons that fight wouldn't happen right now. He talked about it being a possibility or a positive avenue. It isn't. It would be absolutely senseless and silly to make that fight before the Margarito rematch. Talking about Clottey like he's a bowling pin = not reality.

Sounds like a guy that Cotto shouldn't be fighting at this stage of his career. Winning PTP's vacated title means nothing. It's an empty accomplishment similar to Berto's title. Cotto needs some real work against big opponents who can really pressure him. That's exactly what Margo is and Cotto needs to prepare correctly for him if he is to have any success in their potential rematch. I still think Cintron is the perfect opponent because all around he encompasses the attributes to test Cotto in a way that would prepair him for Margarito.

Thx for the info on Jennings btw.

You seem pretty confident that Cotto will win in the rematch :patsch :patsch :patsch :patsch

I wouldn't be that surprised if he were to win in a rematch, but I highly doubt he will win
