Sorry DJA your thread on Sky and Boxnation brought this one to me.

HBO lost Mayweather and Broner but seemed to relish in pushing such warriors as Provodnikov and Golovkin.

HBO had many epic fights, Showtime indulged in the big shows from Goldenboy.

Top Rank kept it steady in the U.S and even venturing into Macau whilst Goldenboy stacked cards in the U.S.

Who won the war in 2013 the transitional war?.

    It's all good mate! :good

For me, Showtime/Golden Boy had the edge over Top Rank and HBO. I thought the overall production of Showtime's shows was sharper, the commentary teams were more objective than HBO's cheerleaders. Whilst I agree, HBO had a few more brilliant main events; personally I felt their cards were more 'star' based with thin undercards.

GB and Showtime bossed it, HBO have some very good fighters but TR cards where **** compared to GB, Bob Arum is to tight to stack his cards, compare the Bradley Marquez ppv undercard to the Mayweather or Broner cards it's night and day. GB put on the best cards in world boxing by a mile IMO often have 3 world title fights, have a Broner headlining with the likes of Thurman and Santa Cruz on the undercards pure quality

HBO is bigger, stronger and much more profitable than Showtime.Top Rank has horrid undercards which gives GBP the nod of overall better cards presented.
