All of that companies biggest fighters have left them since 2005. Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, Chavez Jr., and now Brandon Rios and Mikey Garcia talks about how Bob doesn't give a squat about his fighters welfare or happiness. Everybody wants to sign with Al Haymon so you haters better just settle in and buy some PBC t-shirts. How can you guys dedicate thread after thread to the hate of Haymon and not notice your own hypocrisy and bias toward anybody else not name Haymon (ie. Arum, or that coke fiend you support De La Hoya). Top Rank is a sinking sip and Bob will go out like Don King, with no credible fighters to his name. Good riddance!!! P.S.- John Molina Jr. and Tim Bradley can afford the same cars and they are not even on the same level, then you know Top Rig is ****ting on their fighters.
I wouldn't really listen to anything a proven idiot like Rios says. If it wasn't for Bob Arum he would be on undercards his entire career.
Rios was given a trilogy with Mike Alvarado, and also a Pacquiao shot. It's not Arum's fault Pacquiao made him look like a total amateur. These guys just need to finish out their contracts, and then go their merry ways. Being with Top Rank on HBO and PPV is definitely not the end of the world.
I welcome the dissolution of Top Rank and hopefully the start of a new and better future for boxing. However, I suspect that Haymon, long term, won't prove to be anything better.
I hope Al haymon becomes a dominant force in boxing because he's bringing good fights back to the people. Hopefully it will save boxing from being taken over by ****ty UFC.
And he cried about the Chavez fight being dirty. Doesn't mean Bob likes him. Bob is desperate for that Hispanic fan base.
and haymon fighters not complying to their mandatories while fighting lower level opposition and with questionable results is good for boxing? they are even over payed which is very unrealistic. it is unsustainable for a businessman so a lot are just really skeptical.
How? Bradley last fight damn near didn't male HBO. He not at the MGM or Mandalay. He was fighting in the same venue Robert Guerrero headlined.
