Where do you get this? Nishioka is an elite level, fast, mobile 'boxer-puncher'. Donaire is more refined al-round, true, but if anything, age is a decisive factor on his side, he's not a class or let alone two above Toshiaki in sweet science. I'd favore Donaire at this point, but it's a highly competitive fight between two elite level boxers, and we're yet to see how good Nonito is at 122, bigger guys, longer reaches, harder punches, and regarding him being a different crop, watch him vs. Mthelane, good tape to see his strength and weaknesses. Anyways, Donaire is a great kid, I look forward to their fight, a lot more than him vs. the excellent but badly undersized Narvaez.

The Donaire fight might happen as soon as early 2011, that's the biggie Top Rank is looking for.

It wouldn't even be competitive. It would be like putting a prime Roy Jones Jr in against Virgil Hill. And it will have a similar spectacular ending.

Look, the knockouts of Montiel and Darchinyan were very pretty. Impressive results. We can all agree there.

Donaire can crack. He's a talented kid.

He isn't some invincible force of nature, though. People need to calm the hell down.

    Nishioka not competitive...pfft..:yep

I'm going to laugh my ass off if Narvaez gives life to my slim hopes and proves to be competitive himself. What a feast of crow there would be then, huh? Little tiny unknown protected/untested Omar coming up in weight and stealing a bunch of rounds from/surviving the distance against the almighty immortal Flash? (he wouldn't even need to beat him to have a **** storm rain down on Donaire and his fans, the bar has been set that low...which is insulting, frankly).

Hold your horses, Nishioka isn't that fast -- at least no where near as quick as Donaire.

Like I said, Donaire just looks to be in a different class than Nishioka. And he's already big at 118; I doubt he would have any problems transitioning to 122. Donaire should be the clear favorite over anyone at 118-122. And at 126, I'd favor him over everyone except Gamboa -- that includes the likes of Juanma, Salido, Garcia, and Russell.
