Really dislike him tbh, was never a fan despite his in ring talent and just rubs me up the wrong way completely.

Scores: 76-76, 78-74 x2 for your winner by MD, Martino Jules.

Adelaide Byrd surprisingly with the best scorecard of the three.

I just don’t think he’s very good at paying attention to a fight, especially scoring it properly, with all the talking they do while action is happening. His analysis is fine sometimes but he’s also shown big time bias in some broadcasts. I guess he’s kind of like most commentators lol but yeah, I’m not a big fan of ESPN’s team.

Tessitore and his rigid adherence to whatever narrative he gets spoon-fed.

"Verdejo was supposed to be the next big can't-miss guy, but then a motorcycle accident-"

Bruh. No. His prospect hype bubble had burst long before the damn accident. :nono:

    Round 1

Verdejo is scooting to his left and popping a long, cautious jab and then retreating a half-step after or even before fully extending. Madera is stalking, picking his spots with stiff up-jabs from a resting spot midway down his chest, and rolling with Verdejo's swatting counter left hooks by dipping to his own left. Madera pressing in and lands a few straights on the chin as Verdejo keeps moving, spraying jabs and then hooking off them without ceasing his circling. Madera hurt abruptly from a flush two-piece - hook and uppercut - and Verdejo moves in, landing a few more shots on a dazed Madera who backs into a corner and then falls, and doesn't look very likely to beat the count as he unsteadily sits up, so the ref abandons it.

    KO1!!

Well if you happen to be the ultimate shill/fanboy of ESPN, as Tessitore is, and not watch any other boxing from elsewhere... :nusenuse:

Get you someone you love as much as Tessitore loves seeing overmatched journeyman get KO'd by manufactured 'stars'.

Dude loses his mind and derives orgasmic pleasure from pushed narratives playing out to script. Equally as much (if not as loudly and gratingly) as his old broadcast partner Atlas used to.

Acting like Verdejo reinvented the wheel here or something.

That looked no different from the way he did in like 2013. Bunch'a fast, wide hooks to finish. Madera just had a very padded zero.
