Getting ready for work between rounds (and honestly don't really care about this match enough to put in detailed writeups for each round), but here's my scorecard:

    1st 10-8, 2nd 10-9 and 8th 10-9 for Ishida. Rest to Inoue.

    86-84 Inoue

    Ishida:1*,2,8,
    Takuma:3,4,5,6,7,9,10,
    *Takuma down.

Ishida must have the tenth, opens disastrously for him as he ships uppercuts. Takuma looks like he means business here. I tell you though, i think Takuma is sad about getting hit in the body. Not that it makes anyone particularly happy. I just wish Ishida would step out and maybe try to hurt Takuma's body on the way in. Yes, good, right hands to the body. Ishida generally out-hit here though for power shots. Takuma signalled the right uppercut was his punch in the second and he's still landing it with impunity in the 10th. I have it out of Ishida's reach now without another KD.

    Round 1 Ishida 10-8
    Round 2 Ishida 10-9
    Round 3 Inoue 10-9
    Round 4 Inoue 10-9
    Round 5 Ishida 10-9
    Round 6 Inoue 10-9
    Round 7 Inoue 10-9
    Round 8 Ishida 10-9
    Round 9 Inoue 10-9
    Round 10 Inoue 10-9

Damned close, Sho going all out, but eating way too many clean counters.

One. Aussie former Naoya Inoue victim "Mayhem" Moloney vs. an undefeated Japanese crossover from kickboxing with a perfect 8-0 (all by KO) record.

But even if that ends prematurely, Top Rank has penciled in 7:35am EST (in about 80 minutes) as the start time for main event ring walks, so they'll hold that spot and just kill time should it come to it.

Bad news for Ishida? He needs a KO mathematically on any sane card (and he isn't getting a gift over the headliner's brother, let's be real ) - and historically never has scored one past three rounds ago.

Good news? Already dropped his man once, and Inoue may be tiring a smidge. Holding a fair amount.

It's not possible. Haney lost his fight, Canelo won his.

    Round 5 Ishida 10-9

    Round 8 Ishida 10-9
    Round 9 Inoue 10-9
    Round 10 Inoue 10-9

Sho fought cautiously for first two minutes, but stayed at range and landed the better shots. They traded in the last minute, Sho with the heavier blows.
