    Oof, not only was Jimmy's exagerrated attempted pandering pronunciation of "konban wa" itself cringe - that is used for "good evening" (analogous to konnichi wa for "good morning/early afternoon")...it's 9pm in Tokyo. I think in entertainment/showbiz in Japan it's customary this late to just say ohayo-gozaimasu.
