Judging by how they take care of their fighters, if you were an upcoming boxer and has lots of potentials according to some observers, who would you sign up with and why.
As a fighter Id have a big saying of what I do next if I was with GBP than with TR but with TR they'd now how to build you up, take care of you and wouldnt throw you in with the lions unless you asked for it
if i was a upcomming fighter i would be happy to be signed to either lol. But seriously probably TR, they would probably build me up more slowly=big bucks. but gbp would probably back my robberys.
GBP, I would still be getting good money and I would be fighting on HBO and not on PPV the majority of the time. Also, I know for a fact if I lose a fight I will still win just as long as I stay on my feet.
Well it depends, if you are not cut out to be a big star Top Rank will ignore you, put you in obscure cards and crappy ppv's. With GBP you might get a few big event undercards.
look at Mosley. its been over a year without a fight. youl be like a wine with GBP, youl be aged in oak barrels.
It depends really what you want... neither Golden Boy nor Top Rank spend the time to carefully build a fighter. I have recently been impressed by what Gary Shaw is doing with both Angulo and De Marco. I rather go where I would be a priority so I might lean to Gary Shaw.
Top Rank. No one grooms a prospect like they do. Golden Boy is still in it's youth so maybe they'll hold the mantle one day, but for now the Bobfather holds the crown.
