look what top rank did or is doing with Soto, JM Marquez, Margarito, Donaire....

If your not a big star, you´ll be on those crappy top rank PPV´s or on the undercards of big PPV´s fighting nobody´s.... Especially if Top rank has a star in your division and they think you might make him look bad, they´ll put you away and hope nobody talks about you....

like... JM Marquez with Morales, Soto with Pacquiao..

At this moment, i´ll choose GBP... They have more fighters and big name fighters and are willing to give their young fighters big fights against the older stars

 

if i can choose between who i want, i would choose Lou Dibella, he seems to be most interested in the fighters health and well being.. And he is able to give his fighters good fighters... Look like Mallignagi... He hasn´t been much and almost everybody dislikes his style... Yet he has been in the ring with Cotto, Hatton and Diaz twice... He build Jermaine Taylor pretty good too

Top Rank. They would put me up against guys tailor made for me until I could cash in. At least a little bit. Golden Boy really has no idea what they're doing. They're like a big luxury cruiser with no captain.

 

If I'm a star or estlablished boxer I'd go with Golden Boy. If I was an up and coming boxer I'd go with Top Rank.

 

Donaire just signed with TR a little over a year ago, they are building up for a Darchinyan rematch, thats the only fight Donaire wants.

Soto had a lot of momentum into becoming a star but Guzman stopped that.

JMM screwed himself over he priced himself out of the Pacquiao rematch and the Morales fight.

Margarito was a star for like 15 mins, you cant fault TR for knowing all this time he was a cheat.

You cant lose, get caught cheating, refuse big fights if you want to be a star in this sport, absolutely no way.

 

Golden Boy, The Bobfather has a nasty habit of letting big fights fall through because of personal issues.

Soto beat Rocky Juarez... I took him more then 2 years and 6 irrilevent fights to get a title shot against Joan Guzman.. Who is a very difficult fighter and doesn´t bring much money, since then he won 7 straight, but isn´t close to getting a big fight...... Look at all the great fights Rocky Juarez has gotten since he lost to Soto.. Cause he is GBP... Twice Barrera, Marquez, twice Chris John, Barrios

About JMM you are right... But fact is that BOB wasn´t so keen on putting him in the ring with morales..

I´m talking about Margarito before the cotto fight.. He was beating the **** out of everybody... but kept on PPV undercards for little money

Is donaire TR for only a year??? I thought he became TR right after he beated Vic... And he hasn´t got a HBO or showtime date since

This is what it comes down to. The guy is in it for his own personal wealth. I'm willing to bet that Floyd v Pacquiao didn't happen because of him, and he saw the opportunity to make money at the Cowboys Stadium against somebody less dangerous.
