I was about to say that it's a shame we aren't getting all this stuff (media day workouts yesterday, presser today, weigh-ins Friday) streamed live from the Mexico City half of the PPV.

Then it occurred to me that with Marquez and Fedchenko both being monoglottal (AFAIK? :?) the presser at least might not make for such riveting fare. It's hardly as though they can trash talk to each other the way Rios and Abril can - and are probably about to. When you have to go through a translator it always loses something..

Here comes Abril with a translator.

He talks a lot of **** but can't back it up because he's not 100% Mexican. He's a Mexican American. 50% Mexican only.

The fighters down here in Mexico the way they should behave is outside the ring have to be nice and gentle, and in the ring be ferocious. Everyone who talks stupid **** outside the ring, just shut up."
