    According to Dan Rafael:

The former super middleweight titleholder moved down to middleweight and will challenge Gennady Golovkin (18-0) for a vacant belt. Mundine will have the home-field advantage in Australia because Top Rank, which won the May 3 purse bid for $1.210 million -- to be split evenly between the boxers -- is putting the fight on there in July.

This fight wont stack in the $$$ department...here is why

No way Khoder gives up aussie TV rights :deal

Top Rank paid $1.2m US with only gate minus costs to get money back.....wont work :deal

No TV deal in US with choc v Golovkin :deal

Only way this fight stacks is to put it on in the US as main support of a big WT fight that top rank have on....that way Khoder gets aussie TV and gets paid.....and the big fight night helps pay the bills.

I dont see team Mundine taking a pay cut and signing for this fight unless TR gives Khoder AUST TV. :bart

The planets will never all be completely in alignment Ash.

There comes a time when you either decide you want to step up against quality opposition for a real title, or you don't!

If they really wanted the fight ash, dont you think they would have put a bid in?

He didnt have to take a pay cut if his team was willing to put up the extra dosh to stage the fight...but maybe they just never wanted it in the first place.

For the sake of Anthony's career, I hope Khoder steps down and away from demanding 100% of the Aussie TV money. Unlikely though.

I just dont see this fight being made....if Khoder wanted it he would have won the purse bid.

I'm guilty of getting excited about the purse bid thinking it was made but as we know....just because their is a purse bid wont mean the fight goes ahead.

I know you all say choc picks his fights but you are wrong.

We all know flash trains him and they are close....why would flash get excited about the golovkin fight and purse bid if he knew it was not going ahead?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

This is proof that choc, flash and Tony dont know who choc is fighting until Khoder tells them :deal
