Why isn't Nonito moving up to fight him?

this could be a good fight. vasquez jr. is a big and strong fighter and i think that he would not be stopped by donaire. arce did it because of styles and it's only because of vasquez' lack of experience with fights going into the deep water. it could be that vazquez' size migth trouble donaire just like what concepcion did to him.

this fight would have been good before if Vasquez was still a champion

this is a good match-up imo. I've never seen donaire forced into a war. Vasquez maybe the right guy for it. I saw his fight against sonsona and he looks like a cotto from the lower weight classes. Sonsona may not be as skilled as donaire but both have a lot of similarities to think of what vasquez was able to do to him. This is a pick'em fight. 50/50 for me.

Btw vasquez seems to have learned a lot since the loss and may have improved since then. So it also add up a leverage for this match-up
