Top Rank has 2 of the best fighters on their stable right now and I think it only makes sense to have them co-featured on the same card. Much like how they did with Golovkin and Chocalitito for a little while. What do you guys think?
They're both consistent main event fighters, why would they waste money making potential by putting them on the same card?
Bob doesn't seem to like stacked cards. If he wouldn't stack a card for PPV, I really don't see him doing it for ESPN.
They used to have cards with Duran, Leonard, and Holmes on them. They'd all fight nobodies because there wasn't enough money left over to attract a decent opponent after the stars got paid. If they each headline their own events, then you might get at least one decent fight a card.
It can be done, if every parties not care too much about god damn money and take a pay cut. But why should they bother, I download all my fights online for free.
"Day bout to bang right now *****! Don't do your stuff in public, if you don't want it recorded, cause everybody got that button to push." 9 minutes of fighting. Huge crowd forms. Where are the damn police? End of the video: "If you actin' like you got some what's up, *****?" "Get in the car!" "There the police. ****! Let me go. *****'s try'na pull guns out." Worldstar.
Like how they should have put Donaire on Pacquiao's card... Apparently it's in the contract that ESPN will do two PPV shows for Top Rank in 2018. If there is to be no true blockbuster bout worthy of PPV, it actually makes sense to have Crawford and Lomo both on the same card. I doubt it happens. But it is logical in that respect.
