That's good, maybe this will help with more cross promotional fights. Plus now we dont need to add another streaming service. I just hope this doesn't mean the price goes up.Or there's more paper view

From what I was reading, they are going to get 10 million a year from dazn, down a whopping 80 million from ESPN. Don't know if those numbers are accurate but I would think they are either going to trim their roster or boost # of ppvs.

Also Top Rank was getting 80 million a year from ESPN and they couldn't help themselves in making showcase fights all the time?!?

Good news. Old man still has a pretty decent roster.

I kind of disagree we are going to see cross promotional fights, I didnt see a bunch of Golden boy vs match room cards (the whole Ennis vs Ortiz debacle comes to mind) and not a lot of queensberry vs match took cards (though the 5V5 was excellent)

More like a bunch of people hanging out at the same bar by themselves rather than with each other.

Top Rank will die when Bob Arum finally dies. I know Todd been running it for decades now, but Arum the foundation there. Once he kicks it the train will come to an even slower slow and eventual stop.

Not a whole lot cooking at TR or PBC. Zuffa gone takeover

I'm all for this partnership. More possible fights for Top Rank and DAZN fighters to happen quicker with no roadblocks. Plus there's no need to have to add another streaming platform.

Its very likely that DAZN wont be their main broadcaster, or the only one they work with. TR has been looking to branch out since the ESPN deal ended.

Not a fan of DAZN but it's good to see Top Rank get a deal

I wonder if Chairman Bob will still refer to them as Dead Zone?

Deal expected to have been inked by today, with a press conference here in NYC tomorrow:

    https://danrafael.substack.com/p/sources-top-rank-dazn-reach-multi

This amid rumors of some DAZN disaffection with Matchroom, taking the non-exclusivity thing a bit farther than DAZN likes.

Anyway, so long as I'm a DAZN subscriber, the more deals and partnerships with the platform the better. I don't plan to be signing up for Paramount+ just to watch Zuffa.....
