Sounds more like TR/GBP want to get the information subpoena'd and work from there...

    Their lawsuits are nothing.

They are accusing him of using "sham" promoters - saying Haymon is the real promoter. But Golden Boy, Top Rank, Warriors, all of the promoters, have worked with Haymon. Are they admitting they were all "sham" promoters? Of course not. He hires promoters to promote his events.

They are accusing him of booking locations (so they can't have them) and then not staging any events on those dates. Events are booked at arenas and hotels all the time, and they get called off. If you pay a location to host an event at their site, and then you don't actually stage anything ... but the location gets paid ... the location doesn't care. They got their money.

The old guard is just used to receiving "site fees" from hotels. They want the locations to pay them to host big fights. Haymon flipped it. He's paying the locations.

And they are accusing him of "payola" ... meaning he's bribing people for air time. But he isn't "bribing" anyone. He's paying for an allotted amount of time. Just like preachers and politicians and salesman and daredevils (did you watch the guy walk on a high wire between buildings in downtown Chicago a few months ago?) have been doing forever.

Top Rank, Golden Boy, Main Events ... they have all built their businesses around/and have profited from having networks and sites pay THEM to put together fights.

Now Haymon is paying the networks to give him the air time ... and the networks PREFER to GET PAID rather than PAY MONEY OUT to promoters.

That's why all the networks are falling all over themselves to work with him. That's why he can get any arena or site he wants.

Duva has already publicly said if she had to pay for time slots on networks, she'd go out of business. She couldn't compete. She doesn't have the upfront money.

That's what ALL this is about. They can't afford to do what he's doing, so they're suing. They weren't nimble enough to change their business models and now they're stuck.

But everyone working with Haymon prefers to do it his way rather than the old way.

The fighters, the promoters (working with Haymon), the networks ... and the fans who don't want to pay $100 to watch PPV and would rather watch boxing on free television ... they all prefer to do business Haymon's way.

Times change. They can sue all they want, but you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

He was chased out of the music industry... Not long before boxing chases the snake out.

double chin the reason they catn afford to do what he is doing is because his plan was clearly outlined in the lawsuit,

suffer huge early losses in order to drive out all competition and create a monopoly, which is illegal as well

I can see why American fans like haymon because his putting fights on free tv but the tactics his using are illegal eg the Chavez cheque is a big mess up and his end game that his aiming for is also illegal eg having a monopoly.

I think if these lawsuits don't stop him , his investors will pull out waddle and reed.

the only way they can recoup the losses incurred is if haymon is aloud a monopoly of boxing and starts charging threw the nose

And I'm glad you finally decided to climb out of that rat hole you've been hiding in ever since PBF gave Canelo that work 2 years ago.:hi:

Canelo is Mexican his manager/cross dressing coke head pbf victim promoter Oscar is Mexican American. Almost all of Isal, Freddy and other's favorite fighter's are Mexican. Isal and Freddy are Mexican American. They don't even have to read the suit to know who they're behind. It is totally immaterial whether or not Oscar is wrong or not. If Haymon's last name was Garcia and he was Mexican, Isal and Freddy's opinion would do a instant 180. Not to point out the obvious, but someone had to get real here.:deal:hi:

Actually it is. This is because Top Rank has provided the proof. Manager has paid boxer. Now, mopar has highlighted that the boxer can allow the manager to pay the boxer from proceeds from the promoter.

Given the fact the manager has paid the boxer and that has been proven and that is illegal but with exceptions, haymon has to provide the exception.

He's beating them in the boxing business and they can't compete that's why they're trying to sue to slow down his momentum and try to regroup. That's all this is.
