Jose dominating the round until the final 30 seconds when a hook clocks him to la la land, but didn't knock him down! Miranda tried to finish him off but Jose managed to hold on and survive! First time Jose is truly hurt in his pro career!

 

Hopefully it does. Better he experience this scare now, rather than later on.

Unbelievable! Id be worried about his recovery (another Amir Khan similarity?) Miranda didn't have enough to finish him off, but he had the sense to try and hang on. Could have been a huge shock

Wow don't know what the **** happened in that last round???? I mean Benividez looked gassed, sloppy and uninterested in the 7th and 8th. Then in the last round he plods around with his hands down and gets hit with the ONLY combination Miranda had been trying to land all night. Like WTF kid where's your head at? He's lucky that hook didn't land cause otherwise he would have been out.

Anyways most of the sloppiness was probably down to fatigue. Not going to get carried away. He's just a prospect and still a kid. Probably has to work on his conditioning or something but he certainly isn't the finished product.

 

Seemed like that was more a loss of focus, rather than just a case of shaky whiskers. He got through it, barely, at any rate. Let's see if he keeps his attention on the matter at hand going forward.
