:yep What happened in the last round is actually a good thing, aslong as he takes experiance from it, and corrects in. Ward vs Boone comes to mind, though with obvious differences.
Maybe it will prove to be the best thing that could have happened, knows he still has work to do. A good wake up call. Maybe he was worried about not hurting up Miranda's eye too much and went into cruise control because he seemed to stop throwing the jab?
damn Miranda got a F'ing onslaught of jabs for 7 rounds then almost stopped my favorite prospect im sure the ******ed ass chin checkers will take note of this and continue to get over 90% of their fight predictions wrong. Respect to Miranda tough ass dude with no quit in him.
jabbot lives another day atleast he knows not to trade when hurt and clinch unlike a certain fromer 2 time world champ.
I don't think it was a drop in fatigue or anything. He looked great throughout. Punch output and movement seemed relatively consistent. But he was dropping that right hand all night, and was being caught by the hooks regularly, too. Just so happened that the last one hit the right spot to screw up his signals. Thank God it happened in the last round, or that could have been a bizarre L on his record.
Ya he was taking good shots before the 8th. I wouldn't say he has a bad chin. I'll tell you one thing though, being a talk as **** skinny kid probably doesn't help your chin.
yeah his habit of keeping the right hand to low and or sometimes dropping it almost cost him that fight.
:yep Oscar was dropped a couple times early in his career. Holmes, Tito, Armstrong, etc. got through it. Would have loved another round or two though, just to see the size of "dem balls" on JB :smoke
