TOP RANK v GOLDEN BOY: Which event are you more eagerly anticipating?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by El Cepillo, Aug 19, 2010.

  1. Well I think that's an assumption more than anything else.

Fair do's Vazquez is done. That's plain to see from reports about his health after the third Marquez fight and his subsequent performances. But this isn't the case with Marquez. If Marquez is anywhere near to his best he gives Lopez a hell of a time.

And Couture v Toney is the best fighting the best?

Toney is a novice when it comes to MMA...except his punching which is leaps and bounds above anyone else in UFC. Couture is what 47 years old? Definitely the best fighting the best there. :patsch

What's with the logic and level headedness, you do remember this is the General Forum don't you. :huh If you don't throw in hypejob/shot/bum or fraud in here somewhere, you'll have to take yourself back to the lounge mister. :nono

Ya I don't expect Marquez to capitulate or anything, he'll make things difficult and expose some of Juanma's frailties. But it's a hell of a mountain to climb if he's going for the win, against a bigger younger fighter. I'll be cheering him on though. :good

  6. :D Sorry mate, forgot where I was.

I just think he has something left to prove. Maybe I'm just hoping so. He's a great fighter, like his brother, everything I admire in a fighter.

I wouldn't go that far. The matchups aren't the greatest but I'm looking forward to seeing Canelo and Ortiz fight again.

I'm going to buy this card and PVR/Tivo the Marquez/Juanma fight to watch after. Should be a good night of boxing. :deal

As much as id like to see Canelo fight, im gonna have to say Juanma/Rafa...that fght alone interests me way more than any fight on the Mosley/Mora undercard, including the Canelo fight, which is the only one im interested in from that event.

Mora on any PPV fight is a joke.
2010 has been a horrible year.

When i opened this i was expecting to see Mosley Mora against Pacquiao Margarito !!!!

However i would be voting for Juanma Marquez strongly , very strongly , why ??? , because its a young up and coming world champion who appears beatable fighting a seasoned former multi weight world champion , in probably one of if not his biggest fight on paper to date !!!!

Mosley Mora is **** poor and the undercard is nothing short of disguisting ................. :deal

Canelo is a overrated over hyped rookie , who has shown nothing but a glimpse of potential , Ortiz and Alvarez's match ups are farcical , nothing more , GB have plummeted in my estimations with this card , id honestly rather watch Juanma Marquez alone than all these fights combined :deal
