Never mind, didn't read it right...

You seen much of Gennady? How does he compare to Geale?

I would say Golovkin is definately a superior fighter to Daniel Geale.

Yet to see him fight but I think Olympic silver and winning Junior and Senior World Championship Gold are better than Commonwealth Gold

A couple of fights on the tube boys...and quite a few both am and pro floating around on other sites if you care to look.

I definitely wouldnt say Dan and Gennady has similar am careers...maybe in the pros but GG had been operating at a much higher level in the amatuers.

yep you are right.i think:lol:.Ottke retired IBF/WBA champ before Mundine got his shot and Kessler lost his WBA/WBC to Joe who went to LHW thus Choc was Johnny on the spot to inherit the full WBA belt twice.enjoy the game Saturday?i

It will be interesting when he pulls out through injury,
Some people are kidding themselves if they think all of a sudden at age 35 he will fight a up and coming young talent who can really punch.

He will pull out Govlokan will fight someone else and Mundine will fight an argie

This will be what a lot of "The Pioneer Fans" fans will nervously be thinking but not saying....hey Ash.

I want him to take this and make it interesting. Not stick and grab which after having seen footage of Golovkin i think will be the only chance "The Pioneer" has of not being KTFO and lasting 12 rounds.
Can see "The pioneer" gettting lots of warnings during this matchup and probably a point deduction.

Looking at Golovkin's style, he is a rangy puncher and measures his counters well with big overhand rights and good left hooks...

This will more likely be career ending not defining for "The Pioneer".:hi:

I would love to be proven wrong, but I am seriously skeptical that this fight actually gets made.

The whole running from Kessler episode clearly demonstrates the guy is not interested in establishing a legacy for himself when the risk-reward factor is so highly skewed towards the former.

If Choc can continue to fight cans/journeyman for similar money right here in oz, then history would suggest he will choose this option. Low risk, safe option.

'The Pioneer' has got to be close to the worst, most lame boxing nickname ever, and there's been some shockers too!
