This content is protected I expected Top Rank would pay more to outbid Matchroom for this one. I expect Haney will vacate the belt than go on to face someone low reward/high risk like Martin. Not that I believe Haney is afraid of Martin, just has more options with Eddie, since most of the opposition at 140 is on his side of the street. Still it will be weird to have Alberto Puello upgraded to status of a full champion. Not to mention he will be a two-time champion in the weight class.
Liam Paro will probably be Kambosis 2.0 for Haney. Basic solid boxer with little power or speed to trouble Haney. Still don't understand why Haney is looked after so much when he's not a big draw.
It will be even worse if Haney avoids Martin after that loss. Very very bad look. Haney don't have a lot of options. Anyone can hurt him with good power at that weight
