Top Rank's 3 kings down to 1, but what really separates Pac from Cotto and Pavlik...

The Pacman just gets better as he climbs weight. An exceptional P4P fighter, the only boxer in history to hold a flyweight and lightweight title. Cotto and Pavlik could not hurt opponents bigger than them while Pac can. They could not carry their power, speed, stamina, agility and chin up in weight while the Pacman certainly can. Pacquiao's skills also had been time-tested, he have been with all kinds of brawlers and boxers and never in a fight Pac was shut-out like Kelly Pavlik against Hopkins. These are just the facts...

    What?

Cotto wasn't whooping ass before Margarito? Or Pavlik wasn't whooping ass before Hopkins? What the hell are you talking about?

They both did well after moving up in weight - let me rephrase that - they both did a damn good job after moving up in weight. They both just happened to run into a fighter that were better than them on that night.

Pac Man is about to get his ass handed to him too - but none of these fighters should lose any respect because of there lost. They all fought hard - and should do well when they return.

Will you still dick ride Pac Man after this fight?

You seem to forget a newly debuted 126lber Pac destroyed Barrera. A newly debuted 130lber Pac almost KTFOed Morales in the 12th round. And Diaz a natural 140lber who Santa Cruz could not deter in as many rounds was annihilated by Pac since the beginning of round 1...:deal

:yep Cotto and Pavlik moved up 1 or 2 weight divisions and could not hut opponents anymore. Pacman could have been an 8 not a 5 division world champ if he didn't have to skip two divisions at one time...:deal

I like Pac but he has been knocked out twice early in his career. No one is invincible.

You seem to have amnesia bro. Pac destroyed a master boxer in Barrera in his first featherweight fight. Pac was the only one to send JMM in the canvass 3 times in a round. In another weight division, Pac destroyed a never been KDd Morales twice over. Oh yeah, all these three are legends and could be in the hall of fame soon...:deal

Watch out for Margarito to be extremely protected far away from Paul Williams, he's already booked for his next two fights next year and none include Williams, so even next year that rematch won't happen.

Arum still has Pacquiao and if Pacquiao wins his next fight then there are a few good fights to make.

Also, Pavlik is set to fight Rubio soon and after it Arum can make the big fight with Abraham.

Still a few good fights left for the big boys in his stable so he's not totally done unless they all lose very soon, except for Margarito who is being extremely protected but losing isn't out of the question for him either.

Pacquiao has losses, he knows how to deal with them. We are not sure yet with KP and Cotto

I'm just wondering why MAB and Morales were considered and generally accepted as shot or past prime after Pac entered the ring with them. If The Executioner at age 43 can still be competitive to say the least, (he also went through a lot of wars anyway), why give the "past-prime" excuse for boxers who were considered GREAT, not even in their thirties yet. Can some knowledgeable "boxing analysts" please answer this?

Personally, I think it's not really the age but the psychological trauma that staggered both MAB and EM. Their losses were totally unforeseen and wasn't supposed to happen before Pac entered featherweight and fought MAB.
