Can't believe I forgot Jeff Fenech... I'd probably have him in 7th place, moving the others down a spot...

Sugar Ramos was better than Fenech imo.

Probably the most naturally gifted fighter of the 1800s. A defensive marvel who didn't take his career seriously, was undisciplined and a rampaging drunk. If he'd had more focus and said discipline I doubt anyone would have beaten him.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'd fathomed. I need to get into the serious stuff, I imagine you would be able to provide a pretty detailed analysis on him.....if you find time ;-)

I was going to put him on my list just under Fenech, but I have only seen the Davey Moore fight at feather, so he didn't qualify for my 'at least one hour of footage at the weight' rule.

How do you think Ramos does against the likes of Barrera, Morales, Marquez & Pedroza?

Shame we have such little footage of Moore and Bassey. Class and dangerous judging by what we have and know.

Where would they fit into a list that takes everything into account despite the minimal footage we have of both? 15-20?

just remembered I've seen a Saldivar-Ramos highlight so he probably should count on my list... I don't think that highlight showed him at his best though...
