You could make a case for anywhere between 15 to 30 I'd say.

There's a hell of a lot of guys to consider once you open it up to the likes of Young Griffo, Owen Moran, Freddie Miller, Johnny Dundee, Johnny Kilbane, Kid Chocolate, Chalky Wright, Tony Canzoneri, Terry McGovern etc.

True. From what I know of both, Davey>Hogan. They both look pretty deadly on film.

Famechon, who defeated Harada twice and a controversial loss to I think Sanchez, deserves a mention.

Except he clearly didn't beat Harada the first time.

He also never fought Sanchez, although he's obviously referring to the Saldivar fight, which was very close from what I've seen.

Thank you El Bujia, you are of course right, I was not sure, but it was Vincente Saldivar, himself no mug at the boxing caper. I am not saying Famechon was the greatest feather of all time, but his record suggests he deserves a mention.

I got Fammo top 15. A strong division he's ahead of some great fighters.

    8. Saldivar
    9. Freddie Miller
    10. Baby Arizmendi

Only the first three are in order, and you could easily sub in someone like Marcel, Dundee, Dixon, McGovern, et al for the last two slots. Still, I think Miller and Arizmendi were two high quality feathers who deserve to be mentioned more than they are.

Seeing as Willie Pep altered his scorecard after pressure from the Aussie faithful I'd say the judges were as bent as they come. Harada won the first fight and was disconsolate by the 2nd. Fammo was quality, but he didn't beat Masahiko the 1st time.

Just my personal choice, Flea. From what i've seen, heard and read i just prefer Arguello slightly. But apart from the top three (who are locks in my book) they're all interchangerable anyway and i could easily get another 5 and take 5 out.
