    1. Benny Leonard
    2. Barney Ross
    3. Abe Attell
    4. Jack 'Kid' Berg
    5. Louis 'Kid' Kaplan
    6. Maxie Rosenbloom
    7. Benny Bass
    8. Ted 'Kid' Lewis
    9. Newsboy Brown
    10. Pedro Montanez

    Anyone else?

That's not a guy you'd figure with a Star of David. What's his backstory, M?

Montanez is a fighter I've been getting into over the last few months - turns out he was more than just one of Armstrong's best wins. He actually had a very good record himself as you probably know, and little is known of him by most. He could be a top twenty lightweight.

All I know of his background is that he was a Jewish Puerto Rican which must be unusual.

    Anything's possible, M. I'd sooner imagine a Jewish Eskimo.

Don't know how he was overlooked, r.
