You have to include Fitzsimmons here. I'd say that someone like Tommy Gibbons and Joe Choynski have both solid cases as well.
Who exactly did Gibbons beat at heavyweight? Miske? Soldier Lee? Hell, Bob Foster beat Willie Besmanoff and Whitehurst. I'll take that over Gibbons.
Fitz deserves a spot I suppose. I would leave Gibbons out. I am def biased to pre 30s fighters I figured putting Tunney and Loughran would suffice.
