Yey i just put the fighters that were born or raised here not the residents.. Or else there would be a whole lot of others i could name. Baby Arizmendi,Rodlolfo Gonzalez,KId Azteca,Israel Vasquez(and others) were guys that fought most of their careers here and became permanent residents of the US, but they are Mexican nationals.

I dont see how Carlos had a son old enough to be on the Olympic team that died in the 1980 plane crash? I believe Carlos would have have been 30 or 31? I know we have em young but:huh Maybe it was his brother?

Was Chico a National hero in Colombia? He llived in California, did he not? Duran lived in Panama. Duran's Mexican heritage has nothing to do with him being considered for Mex/Amer. status.

:think We will soon find out. He came in at 250 in his last fight but Shields had only been with him for a couple weeks.. He should come in at least 10 lbs lighter for his next bout. If he does i think he beats any heavyweight out there not name Klitschko. Although right now id say he is a lower top 10 guy, who will eventually end up a gatekeeper.

And what makes you say that? Diego grew up in a Chicano neighborhood in Sacramento and is half Mexican, Im pretty sure he identified himself as Mexican/American.
