good list but I would put Rigo above Cotto and I do not think Garcia should be on that list (he is getting there but not quite yet
Like he said in the OP, don't confuse skill with athleticisim. If you can't tell the difference, think of it this way. Athleticism: Ali, Roy Jones Jr., Whitaker, Hammed, David Haye, Pacquaio, Vitali Klitschko, Rocky Marciano Technical Skill: Joe Louis, Hopkins, Juan Manuel Marquez, Cotto, Wladimir Klitschko, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya Rare combination of both: Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Ray Robinson, Nikolai Valuev
so basically you're an idiot who only heard of 5 fighters since your topic is "top 10" and you only name 5:deal
yeah I think you cant go wrong having Floyd and JMM 1 and 2,I just gave JMM the benefit of the doubt because Floyd is still a great athlete. Ward is the next best thing so I think he is solid at number 3 my 4-10 is kind of interchangeable though just depending on what you look for in a technical fighter
My top 5 1. Floyd 2. Wladimir 3. Ward 4. Marquez 5. Rigondeaux These are the 5 best technicians in the game right now. Cutting Rigo some slack because his division is lame and he has one of the best amateur careers of all time. There are 4 olympic gold medals on my list. That should tell you most of what you need to know.
1. Hopkins 2. Ward 3. Mayweather 4. JM Marquez 5. Moreno 6. W. Klitschko 7. Rigondeaux 8. Cunningham 9. Nishioka 10. Miguel Vazquez Cotto, Jhonny Gonzalez, Lara, Morales, MA Barrera, Toney and Campillo are all in the general vicinity of the second half of the list as well.
