except for pac at #1 , i didn't put much effort writing it in the correct order.

    worth mentioning : arthur abraham

williams is good by the naive definition of p4p but doesn't look that impressive when his physical prowess jumps to mind.
    remember quintana.

hopkins is a very dirty fighter - don't forget it.
he also is ducking the good oposition and picking fights in a roy jones manner (early roy jones).

One of the worst lists I've ever seen. I felt guilty about including Klitschko, but Byrd? Dawson? Ouch. Barrera and Morales are locks.

Marquez above Barrera and Morales? Ouch. Can't agree with that at all. Calderon has been dominating a wasteland, currently been having huge issues with his latest opponent, I think there are more deserving players. Calzaghe was every bit as consistent as Calderon and was beating better fighters.

thought someone would take issue here just threw it in to debate

arguably JMM has 2 wins over Pac (a better version that the one Morales beat IMO in the 2nd fight) he has won belts in 3 weights being regarded in each as the best at that weight. Arguably beat a long time standing Featherweight champion in John.

at SFW he established himself with wins over top contenders Juarez especially.

He then moved up to Lightweight and wins against the number 1 lightweight in Casa who had slipped but was still regarded as the best (except Pac but he hadnt estblished himewlf there enough) then defending against arguably the top contender and KOing him (Diaz)

Also just thought id throw Calderon in for debate also

think what he has done is underrated beat good guys in Mayol (close though) Cazarez was 2 good wins. Hes just dominated so good. But so ha joe so fair enough

    1. Mayweather
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Calzaghe
    4. Hopkins
    5. Morales (would be higher but had his peak from 97-2000 & was finished by 05, still did enough to crack this list tho)
    6. Barrera
    7. Mosely
    8. Marquez
    9. Wright
    10. Delahoya

Lots of guys could be swapped, kinda rushed it but no1 & 2 are locks, Hopkins is a bit overrated IMO but any list without him isnt worth **** either.

We've seen the extent of John's ability by struggling with the likes of Rocky Jaurez on two occasions. He has not impressed me, so with Marquez losing a decision to the same man, that only diminishes Marquez as a fighter.

Admittedly, I had Marquez winning both fights with Pacquiao but they were too close to ever be considered robbery's. He didn't get the decision, and therefore he only gets credited as putting up great performances. These are fights Marquez ultimately lost.

Juarez loses every time he steps up in class.

Joel Casamayor had shown sufficient wear and tear prior to fighting Marquez, and the fight proved to be a very competitive affair before the knockout came. I'm not going to discredit the win further, Marquez beat a good Lightweight. No question about it.

Barrera and Morales, both have wins over prime great fighters. Barrera has Morales x2 and Hamed, whereas Morales has Barrera and Pacquiao. Considering these two are also three weight world champions, and have fought better opposition than Marquez on the whole - I can't see any reason to have Marquez above them.

Who has the better resume, Mayweather or Hopkins? Hopkins wins fights he supposed to lose, whereas Mayweather only does what people expect of him when he takes on Ricky Hatton, Carlos Baldomir, and Aturo Gatti.

well maybe dawson not , and calzaghe also not. but byrd is a lock.
barerra ? morales ? they were stopped 2 times a piece and at still young ages. being small does not make you a p4p fighter. especially when small and fighting against your size.
you want dawson and calzaghe out ? take abraham in ? donaire in ? i don't know. hard to find 10. afolabi ? alan green ? shumenov ? garay ?

I actually agree with this list, thoughI would replace Oscar Delahoya with Winky Wright....

    Manny Pacquaio
    Floyd Mayweather
    Bernard Hopkins
    Roy Jones
    Shane Mosley
    Erik Morales
    Tito Trinidad
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Joe Calzaghe
Winky Wright (instead of DLH for 2000-2009)
