It's not about resume or legacy, longevity or consistency. Who, during their absolute peak at their best weight, would you bet the mortgage on? Their opponent? Everyone ever. Accounting for all styles. Fifteen rounds.

I'm going to hold off for now, and post mine a little further in. Who was in an absolute sense the highest hurdle?

    In no order:

    Ruben Olivares
    Wilfredo Gomez
    Roy Jones
    Pernell Whitaker
    Roberto Duran
    Muhammad Ali
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Henry Armstrong
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Ezzard Charles

Jofre lost to Charles on a coin toss. If there was more footage of either in their primes maybe they'd be more like a lock.

Jones Junior is the best fighter in history pound for pound after twenty odd fights? I doubt that my friend.

Pretty surprised how in unison this is. Seems like everyone has at least the same 8 names.
